Jackie Chan Presents: Metal Mayhem

GenY Cops is a 2000 Hong Kong science fiction action film directed by Benny Chan and starring Edison Chen, Stephen Fung and Sam Lee. The film is a sequel to the 1999 film, GenX Cops.

The film was produced by Regent Entertainment and Media Asia Films. As one reviewer described the origin of the American version of the sequel to GenX Cops,Metal Mayhem is the Americanized version of a Hong Kong film called GenY Cops sequel to the aptly named smash hit GenX Cops. Its unclear how the Jackie Chan presents label was justified, since he doesnt appear to have anything to do with the film. However, the label is an effective way to let American audiences know up front what kind of movie theyre getting themselves into. ........
